Анотація
Дисертація на здобуття наукового ступеня кандидата економічних наук (доктора філософії) за спеціальністю 08.00.04 - економіка та управління підприємствами (за видами економічної діяльності).
Дисертацію присвячено розробці теоретичних та методичних підходів щодо управління конкурентною стратегією м’ясопереробних підприємств. Автором проаналізовано сутність визначальних дефініцій конкурентної стратегії, а саме: «конкурентоспроможність продукції», «конкурентоспроможність підприємства», «управління конкурентоспроможністю підприємства», «конкурентна стратегія» та запропоновано власне визначення поняття «конкурентна стратегія м’ясопереробних підприємств».
Визначено методичні підходи до оцінки конкурентоспроможності підприємства та продукції. Досліджено фактори, які впливають на формування і реалізацію конкурентної стратегії м’ясопереробних підприємств в сучасних умовах. Проведено аналіз особливостей розвитку м’ясопереробної галузі України за показниками: споживання, виробництво, імпорт, експорт м’яса та м’ясопродуктів. Проаналізовано політико-правовий, економічний, соціально-демографічний, технологічний фактор зовнішнього середовища за допомогою PEST-аналізу. Здійснено комплексний стратегічний аналіз м’ясопереробних підприємств за допомогою SPACE-аналізу, що дозволив визначити вектор стратегічного розвитку.
У дисертаційній роботі автором розроблено механізм вибору ефективної конкурентної стратегії м’ясопереробних підприємств. Обґрунтовано реалізацію стратегії концентрованого зростання, а саме стратегії зовнішньоекономічної діяльності. Розроблено оптимальну стратегію збуту продукції на внутрішньому ринку за допомогою використання методу «теорії ігор». Побудовано економетричну модель оцінки прогнозних значень конкурентоспроможності м’ясопереробних підприємств на внутрішньому ринку. Проведено оцінку впливу обраної конкурентної стратегії на ефективність діяльності м’ясопереробних підприємств.

The thesis for the degree of a Candidate of economic sciences (Doctor of Philosophy) according to specialty 08.00.04 - Economy and Management of Enterprises (by types of economic activity). The thesis is dedicated to the development of theoretical and methodological approaches to managing the competitive strategy of meat processing enterprises. The meat processing industry is one of the largest and most important branches of the food industry. With increasing competition in the domestic market and decrease in real incomes of the population, it becomes more difficult for enterprises to function effectively. Therefore the development of an effective mechanism for managing a competitive strategy is crucial. The author analyzes the essence of the competitive strategy definitions, namely: "product competitiveness", "enterprise competitiveness", "enterprise competitiveness management", "competitive strategy". The paper determines the methodical approaches to assessing the competitiveness of enterprises and products, investigates factors that influence the formation and realization of meat processing enterprises competitive strategy in modern conditions. Building on the author's research and the works of domestic and foreign scientists on the issues relating to strategic management, it was summarized that the competitive strategy is systemic and includes two subsystems: the internal one consists of the description of ways to achieve the desired result in relation to competitors from the point of view of internal changes; and the external system, which is outward-facing, consists of the elements for determining competitive objectives and describes ways of interacting with competitors. The task of the enterprise which constructs its own competitive strategy is to make the right choice in defining competitive strategy subsystems structure and finding their optimal combination. On the basis of the study, it was specified the essence of the concept "competitive strategy of meat processing enterprises" which the author defines as a complex of actions taken by the top management and tools aimed to expand or protect the existing market share of the enterprise; to increase its profitability in the long-term perspective by ensuring stability of positions in the external environment through the effective use of internal resources; to attract new customers; to monitor continuously and response to changes in macro- and microenvironment quickly than the competitors. The analysis of the Ukrainian meat processing industry development peculiarities in terms of consumption, production, import, export of meat and meat products is carried out. There was investigated the raw material base condition of meat processing enterprises on which itself the condition of animal husbandry has the direct influence. Recently, there has been a tendency to reduce the number of farm animals, and as a consequence, there is a limited amount of the required raw material. Financial analysis of the meat processing enterprises activity revealed that there was a very high probability of their bankruptcy. They get a net loss and have a low production profitability. None of the companies has an absolutely liquid balance sheet most of the liquidity and financial stability indicators do not meet the established normative values. The author proposes a mechanism for selecting an effective competitive strategy for meat processing enterprises, which is a set of interconnected methods, techniques, strategic management tools of the enterprise, based on the collection of relevant information, the definition of mission and goals, monitoring of external and internal environment factors, strategic business simulation, the formation of alternatives, their assessment, implementation and conduct of strategic audit. This mechanism is implemented in three stages: Stage 1 "Strategic Monitoring and Forecasting", Stage 2 "Formation of a set of strategic alternatives" and Stage 3 "Strategy development and implementation". It was found out that the domestic meat and meat products market has significant threats. At the same time, there are significant globalization processes in the world economy, and some markets that haven’t been previously used by the Ukrainian meat processing industry producers become promising. It is proved that in order to improve the efficiency of domestic meat processing enterprises, it is necessary to implement a strategy of concentrated growth by implementing its alternative - entering new markets, that is, developing an effective strategy of foreign economic activity for the enterprise. It is substantiated that due to the large and fast-growing demand, the most promising region for export is Asia, namely, the PRC and Hong Kong. This study analyzes the consumption, production, export and import of meat and meat products in the market of these countries. The features of the retail system and the necessary procedures for the food products import, in particular meat and meat products, are considered. For the meat processing enterprises that are mediocre in the industry and do not have necessary capacity to enter the new market, it is proposed to implement the product strategy. In case of unfavorable market conditions there exists a risk of profit loss. In this connection, the uncertainty factor takes place. Using the “game theory” method, an optimal strategy for marketing products in domestic market is developed. According to the results of the research, it should be noted that though it is obvious that enterprise activity results depend on the level of competitiveness, it is impossible to determine the strength and direction of the influence of particular enterprise activities indicators on the enterprise operational effectiveness without formalizing the competitiveness. Since enterprises are characterized by complexity and multilevelness, it will contribute to more substantiated changes in the enterprise operation organization to do a periodic evaluation of their construction parameters and the identification of the influence on economic effectiveness.
