Fintech: trends and prospect of development in the transition to a touchless economy

The aim of the research is to explore the main features of the development of the fintech industry at the global level and in Ukraine. The basic interpretation of the concept of "fintech" is observed, as well as the strengths and weaknesses of innovative financial technologies, the main opportunities and potential threats from implementation are identified. The main areas of fintech development (payment, investment, credit, insurance, regulatory and advisory services) are identified. Promising technological approaches (machine learning, predictive analytics, distributed technologies, cryptography, mobile access), as well as their quality attributes, are analyzed. The features and topical problems of Fintech development at the global level and in Ukraine are investigated. It is shown that in Ukraine the fintech industry is still at the stage of development and has a number of problems with the law base, as well as with the reluctance of large players in the financial market to integrate large-scale innovations.
